January 15, 2009 - Struggles

I am finding today to be very difficult. I woke up for prayer and prayed for our alotted time. I got to work, anointed all my co-workers' offices, and prayed for them. I felt the spirit of God this morning. Now, I am struggling to overcome the odds with fasting. All but one of my co-workers had enticing Waffle House for breakfast. Cheese ( my favorite) is all around the office. I am having cravings like you would not believe, but with each struggle, I praise God. I know that my flesh is being brought into subjection. I looked at the Folks menu to order lunch as I knew I could get vegetables. However, most of their vegetables that I like are either fried or have meat. It is just amazing how creative Satan is with his enticements. Thank God for being an overcomer today. What about you ? How is the fast going for you?
